We’ve been working closely with the Railway Heritage Trust to restore the oldest surviving railway structure in London as part of The Deptford Project regeneration.
The Grade-II listed Carriage Ramp was first used in 1836 as a means for carriages to reach the station. When it’s finished it will be used by the public to access Deptford Railway Station and the arches will become home to local start up businesses.
Offering affordable space to local start ups, at least 20% of our new tenants live within 0.5 miles of the site, with many more having a local connection through where they currently trade from, work or hang out.
Amongst the arch space unit tenants set to take up their first permanent shop space, there will be previous local market stall holders, street food vendors who want to try something new and creative studios that want a place to work and sell from. We can’t say who they are just yet but will be announcing them all very soon so watch this space!
