TfL has announced that Triangle London Developments, a consortium of Notting Hill Housing and U+I, is the preferred bidder for a joint venture at a TfL-owned site in Kidbrooke - the first site to be awarded through TfL’s Property Partnerships Framework.

Working with TfL and in partnership with Notting Hill Housing, we’re excited to be helping to transform the vacant site into a new mixed-use development, delivering hundreds of new homes, commercial, retail and office space, as well as an improved transport hub, and village square. 

Not only will the site deliver 400 new homes – 50% of which will be affordable - but the development will secure income for TfL to reinvest in transport. An example of a private public partnership working at its best.

Subject to final approval by the TfL Finance Committee and contract completion, the new joint venture will consult with Londoners to develop concept designs in order to seek planning permissions and start on site in 2018, aiming to have the first homes available to buy and rent by 2020.

Kidbrooke was the first in a series of TfL sites to be released for development last year to support the Mayor of London's manifesto pledge to unlock public land to build thousands of affordable homes for Londoners. 

This latest announcement also reinforces our longstanding relationship with TfL, who are already our JV Partner at Algarve House, a mixed-use development above and around Southwark Tube Station. Our track record with TfL also includes town centre office development, 10 and 12 Hammersmith Grove, delivered on TfL-owned land next to Hammersmith tube station.

Last year, we announced that we would be one of a very strong line up of thirteen developers selected by Transport for London to form part of the Property Partnerships Framework.
